Author, Teacher, and Medicinal Culinary Expert

For those seeking balance in the inevitable imbalance of life.

AMITA S. NATHWANI, M.A. (Ayur)

I was taught if I just ate well, meditated, practiced yoga and treated everyone with compassion, everything would be good.

Well, life doesn’t always turn out that way, and everything is not always good. In fact, it can often be downright devastating. This is because life is constantly changing. Our path is to accept this, and learn to dance with the changes. Whether it is following the seasons with our diet, adjusting to new circumstances with lifestyle, changing the way we think so we can heal from past experiences, or treating the body with medicine to address pathology.

As you read through my site, I hope my knowledge and journey bring you some balance in the inevitable imbalance of your life.

Welcome to AmitaAyurveda.
